This luxurious, historic, landmark was designed by Renowned Architect firm Burns and Beyerl. who in 2008, received the coveted National Preservation Excellence Award. In 2009 the Villa received its Bed and breakfast license by the City if Chicago to operate as a luxury Guest house. A stunning European inspired total renovation of this classic greystone makes it something not to be missed.

The Villa D’ Citta offers a sense of privacy and serenity, yet steps away lies Lincoln Park’s Main Strip. It was built as a family “cottage” in 1887, when wealthy tycoons selected the most desirable locations for their summer season mansions. Villa Breakfast

The Villa offers the continental spread featuring whole & low fat grade A milk, ice cold Tropicana OJ, Britta filtered H2O, Organic cereals /oatmeal, Honey Bunches of oat, Special K with strawberries and bananas, a variety of bagels, muffins and croissants (blueberry, raisin, cinnamon, whole wheat, sesame seed etc…), as well as Delicious red or Granny Smith apples, plump oranges and bananas when in season.…..Don’t forget the Eggs and ham! There will always be breakfast groceries ranging from WI cheddar, American and Imported Cheeses, in the sub zero to combo up with eggs, sliced ham or Italian salami, and red Campari tomatoes on the vine for you to whip up an omelet on the Wolf range or throw on fresh Turano bread and onto the Panini maker. Grill and prepare to your liking.

24 hour Snack Shop

The kitchen is a common area for use at your leisure to prepare breakfast, store takeout and or catch a mid day/ mid night snack ie: salami or ham and cheese Panini or Chicago hot dog. (select meats, cheeses, Italian bread, hot dog buns, ketchup, mayo, mustard, pickles, hot giardiniera, and ripe tomatoes with olive oil and balsamic always on hand).

Villa Grotto Grill

The grotto at the Villa hosts a gas grill with propane on hand 365 days a year and a Green Egg ceramic charcoal cooker seasonal to cook up select stakes, burgers, dogs and brats, or a romantic cook out with meats & or sea foods handpicked at Gepperths fine meats & a bottle of vino.
